🎱 Two players, one phone, no internet

Most pool games want an opponent online and a connection to find one. This one is built for two people sitting next to each other, passing the phone back and forth β€” and for the 160 trick tables when nobody is around.

Crazy Cue

Pass-and-play pool for two people on one phone, plus 160 trickshot tables with portals, bomb balls and moving pockets. Free, offline, no account.

What it does

Who it is for

Two people with one phone and ten minutes, and anyone who wants pool without signing into anything.

Eight-ball, in about a minute

Pool is one of those games almost everyone has played and almost nobody has had explained. The rules vary between the pub, the world standard and the American version, but the core is the same everywhere.

The break decides nothing. The table is open until someone legally pots a ball. Whichever group they sink first β€” spots or stripes β€” becomes theirs for the rest of the frame.

Pot one, shoot again. A frame is a run, not an exchange of turns, which is why good players can clear a table without their opponent touching the cue.

The black is last. Clear your whole group first, then nominate a pocket for the eight. Potting it early, or in the wrong pocket, loses the frame on the spot.

Fouls hand over the cue ball. Hitting the wrong group first, potting the white, or hitting nothing at all gives your opponent the table β€” usually with a free shot from anywhere.

One habit separates beginners from everyone else, and it costs nothing: look at where the white ends up, not at the ball you are potting. Any decent player is already planning the next shot while taking this one, and that is a thinking skill rather than an aiming one.

Questions people ask

Can two people play on the same phone?

Yes. Pass-and-play is the main mode: you take alternate shots on one device, with no second phone and no connection needed.

Does it work offline?

Yes, all modes work offline, including the computer opponent.

What are the trickshot tables?

Tables with rules ordinary pool does not have β€” portals that move the ball across the table, balls that explode, and pockets that drift while you line up the shot.
